1) GROUNDS & MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT - CLOSING DATE: May 3. Seasonal, June to August. Assist with grounds and maintenance at historic sites. Security clearance required, may require working evenings, weekends and/or stat and territorial holidays. (posted Jan 25)

2) STUDENT WEEKEND FARM LABOURER – MUST BE A TH CITIZEN BETWEEN THE AGES OF 15 - 17. OPEN UNTIL FILLED. Term, until May 31, 2024. Reporting to the Youth Field Supervisor, this student position will assist in undertaking any number of farm tasks, including, seasonal site maintenance, plant management, animal care and land preparations on the TH Teaching and Working Farm located on the Traditional Territory of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in. 3) YOUTH SNOW REMOVAL LABOURER: OPEN TO TR’ONDEK HWECH’IN CITIZENS ONLY. On-call. Ongoing. Reporting to the Housing Maintenance Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing services of snow removal to various Tr’ondek Hwech’in asset buildings. The incumbent must be fully available to perform duties during the winter when required. Hours will vary based on snowfall and weather conditions.

4) YOUTH EARLY CHILDHOOD AFTER SCHOOL EDUCATOR:  OPEN TO TR’ONDEK HWECH’IN CITIZENS ONLY. Must be between the ages of 15 - 18 to apply. Responsible for assisting and working alongside the Early Childhood Educators of the various age groups and programs. Help create and implement programming that meets the needs and development of the children. Must have good communications skills. (updated Feb 13)

5) SUMMER STUDENT – OUTSIDE/INSIDE SALES: This position is open to summer students, beginning when school is completed for the summer and ending at the start of the new school year (June – August).  The successful applicant will work closely with the Inside Sales & Outside Sales staff.  This position is responsible for stocking inventory; assisting customers with loading purchases; general cleanup in yard and buildings; and assisting with compiling customer orders for delivery.  This position is closely supervised and training opportunities will be available.  (posted Apr 15)  

6) SUMMER SHELTER ASSISTANT: 30hrs per week for a total of 16 weeks between May 1st – September 1st, 2024, and there is a 2-week trial period. Care of a25mals including feeding, exercising, and training. Promoting humane education and animal care, maintaining general upkeep of the shelter and yard and general office duties. Must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident and Yukon resident since March 1, 2023. Must be a student who attended full-time at a secondary, post – secondary or vocational school for at least one semester during the current academic year, or a youth between ages of 17 – 25.
